戦勝73周年、退役軍人と戦時功労者が平壌に到着

Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) — A grand event will take place in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Warm congratulations are extended from across the country to the heroes of the legendary era, who are glorifying their honourable life as the first-generation defenders of the country and dear revolutionary forerunners held in respect by the Workers’ Party of Korea and the people, in the run-up to July 27, the war victory day. The war veterans and persons of wartime merits invited to the significant V-day celebrations were warmly seen off by officials of the Party and power organs, working people, families and relatives in the relevant areas. They arrived here on July 25 and senior officials of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea warmly greeted them at Pyongyang Railway Station and lodging quarters.
