Pyongyang, July 26 (KCNA) — Schoolchildren held meetings with war veterans in North and South Phyongan provinces, North and South Hwanghae provinces, North Hamgyong Province and Nampho Municipality. When Hero of the Republic Ri Tong Guk and other war veterans Kim Kyong Ho, Kil Song Ran, Phyon Chan Gyu, Kang Song Ok and Sin Mun Chol arrived at the venue of meetings, schoolchildren warmly welcomed them with bouquets. At the meetings the war veterans said that the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War is shining as an event to be specially recorded in the world history of wars as it was the victory of the Juche-oriented military idea and brilliant strategy and tactics of President Kim Il Sung, the invincible and iron-willed commander, and the victory of the heroic spirit of defending the country displayed by the service personnel of the Korean People’s Army and the DPRK people. They impressively told about the heroic feats performed by the brave KPA soldiers who devoted their youth and lives to victory with ardent love for the country and soaring hatred against the enemy and delivered wholesale deaths to the aggressors. The war veterans handed over the national flag of the DPRK to their successors, asking the rising generations to firmly carry forward heroic Korea’s tradition of victory, true to the leadership of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un.
