朝鮮、国土・環境保護分野の夏季美学シンポジウム開催

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) — A summer aesthetic symposium in the field of land and environment protection-2026 took place at the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK through video conferencing on July 29. Attending it were officials and scientists from relevant sectors including the land and environment protection, urban management, industrial art and education. The symposium was held on the theme of “Let us turn all mountains into beautiful and useful ones”. Screened there was a video dealing with the achievements made in afforestation. Speakers referred to the achievements made by Pukchang and Unsan counties which have dynamically pushed ahead with afforestation after working out stepwise plans as intended by the Workers’ Party of Korea. They introduced the experience gained in the course of creating mixed forests and economic forests scientifically and substantially in conformity with the natural, geographical and economic features of the counties and protecting and monitoring forests as required by the Party’s policy. They referred to the ways for ensuring the scenic beauty and economic efficiency of the forests.
