Pyongyang, July 23 (KCNA) — Youth and students in Pyongyang, the capital city of the DPRK, met with a war veteran on July 21 and 22. At the meetings, the war veteran said that July 27, our victory day, is a precious fruit of the Juche-based military idea and outstanding military strategy of President Kim Il Sung and the heroic spirit of defending the country displayed by the People’s Army soldiers and people and that it is shining long in history as a miracle to be specially recorded in the world history of wars. He told about what ideological determination the wartime fighters had when they turned out in the decisive battles against the enemies who invaded the inviolable DPRK and how they fought against the aggressors to defend the national dignity, honour and sovereignty. Saying that the DPRK’s sacred history of war victory is a precious tradition to be carried forward generation after generation, he earnestly asked all the youth and students to ensure the continuity of heroic Korea’s history of victory, true to the leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
