Pyongyang, August 8 (KCNA) — The machine-building industry of the DPRK makes progress in the technical innovation project for improving the quality of products and the performance of equipment. The Ryongsong Machine Complex has improved the production process rationally to ensure the manufacture and assembly of equipment at a high rate amid the second-stage modernization project. It improved the quality of products by introducing more than 10 technical innovations in July alone. The Taean Heavy Machine Complex improved the quality of processed goods and cutting products by readjusting the device used in drilling machines and plasma cutting apparatus in time and raised the cleanliness of steel castings by introducing a new method. The Pyongyang Electric Cable General Factory 326 solved dozens of technical problems to ensure the quality of products on a high level. The Ranam Coal-mining Machine Factory built a new drying furnace and introduced a process of producing steel castings by metal mould, thus providing a guarantee for improving the quality of products on a higher level.
