The spirit of devotedly implementing the Party’s plan even under the worst health crisis, the indomitable will to turn misfortune into blessing despite the ferocious natural disaster, the stubborn disposition to steadily make new miracles and records in the widening sphere of struggle, and the confident courage to steadily create new things of Korean style both in name and in reality while rejecting imitation and dependence–this is our people’s new picture in the era of great change. The era of great change turns our people into persons of action with high insight, skillful qualifications and innovative style of work. Witnessing new streets built in the capital city every year, the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm, the Samgwang Livestock Farm and other edifices that visualize the future of our countryside and animal husbandry, people are realizing for themselves what new, innovative and original things are and what insight and qualifications they should possess to create such things. The era of great change is training our people into persons of creation who are constantly pioneering a new phase of civilization.
