Pyongyang, July 25 (KCNA) — Officials and members of the women’s union in the DPRK met a hero of the Republic at the Hall of Women on July 24 on the occasion of the 73rd anniversary of the victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Present there were Jon Hyang Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women’s Union of Korea, officials of the women’s union and its members in Pyongyang. Hero of the Republic Ho Ryong, a lecturer of the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Museum, said at the meeting that the young Korean People’s Army could develop into the elite ranks, defeating the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the “strongest” in the world during our Fatherland Liberation War and recording only victory in the decades-long confrontation with the U.S.-led imperialists.
