Pyongyang, August 17 (KCNA) — General education units in Pyongyang are directing deep attention to the schoolchildren’s education and edification during the summer vacation in contact with their parents. Teachers of Tongsong Senior Middle School and Pyongyang Primary School No. 4 in Central District are giving assistance to the schoolchildren’ study and organizing their extracurricular activities in close contact between schools and families. Parents of Tongdaewon Primary School in Tongdaewon District make their children keep to daily schedule during the summer vacation, provide them with books necessary for study and have them lead a cultural and emotional life in a peculiar way to acquire versatile knowledge. Teachers of Ragwon Primary School and Sinwon Senior Middle School in Pothonggang District arrange the schoolchildren’s visit to homes of war veterans and disabled soldiers on holidays. While singing songs and listening to the tales of feats, the schoolchildren are cherishing the will to grow up to be pillars of the country.
